The relationship Air Force Services Center (AFSVC) Marketing maintains with the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) plays an integral part to the growth and development of Marketing Personnel across the Air Force and Space Force. The ANA is recognized as a premier network of industry brands, the oldest association in the US driven by a growth agenda.
At the ANA In-House Agency Conference (12-14 June) You will learn practical tactics and creative strategy to enhance your marketing operations. Your professional growth directly affects the FSS bottom line. Your value to your team will be increased while you earn continuing education units.
At the MilMark Workshop (12 & 14 June), you’ll learn how to use the lessons from ANA in a military environment. You will renew and gain peer connections and share best practices. Common challenges and resolutions will be discussed and analyzed. You will have several opportunities to directly interact with AFSVC personnel.

The 2023 MilMark Breakout will wrap up on Wednesday, 14 June.
We’ve made this change to reduce overall costs to the Air Force and increase efficiency.

The workshop will equip Air Force installation-level marketing staffs with cutting-edge knowledge and resources to strategically plan and execute marketing campaigns promoting AFSVC and FSS programs and services. The workshop will bridge AFSVC and FSS brand positioning and strategy. Specifically, the workshop:
- Provides industry best practices and case studies on marketing trends and innovations that will increase skill in:
- Planning and executing integrated marketing plans
- Improving content marketing strategy
- Working with activity managers to improve the bottom line
- Making data-driven decisions
- Provides AF-specific training on AF Instructions/guidance affecting marketing and sponsorship operations
- Provides insight on upcoming AFSVC marketing initiatives
- Facilitates crosstalk between marketing directors/managers to share success stories and effective marketing campaigns
- Provides one or more industry professionals who will present industry-specific content, including case studies and training which substantially enhances marketing managers’ knowledge and abilities

Tax Exemption
Upon checking into your hotel, show proof of your government employment to be exempted from federal, state and local taxes accompanied by the following documents:
- AFSVC Tax Exempt Form
- Federal Tax Exempt Form
- State of Florida Tax Exempt Form
Instructions
- Refer to AFSVC tax exempt #530228403. Use this on hotel-specific paperwork.
- Complete the Federal Tax and State of Florida Tax Exempt forms ahead of check-in
- Show these forms to the hotel representative upon check-in
Pricing
Consult with your Leadership and/or FSS Resource Manager (RM) regarding funding availability and to identify method necessary to secure registration and travel as it will vary base to base.

- For those registered to attend the conference in person, the ANA has negotiated a special room rate of $239 per night plus taxes and fees at the host venue
- Hotel Reservation Page
- Please note, a limited number of hotel rooms are available at this rate. Once the maximum is met, you may book a stay without the group code or find a hotel within the local commuting area within lodging per diem rates. We recommend seeking special rates for official government business.

Those confirming attendance will receive a special link to register for the MilMark Workshop training via email at a later date. This training will consist of two separate classes conducted simultaneously. Students will be preselected to attend respective courses based on completion of previous ANA coursework.

- Under the Membership tab click Create Account
- Fill out form
- Use your .mil when prompted for a company email
- Enter “Air Force Services Marketing” when prompted for a company
- Use your .mil when prompted for company email

- Go to MyFSS
- Click the MySERVICES box

There are several reasons this could be happening. First confirm:
- Are you logged in to your ANA account?
- Has your ANA account been aligned with AFSVC’s Client-Side Membership?
If no, submit a MyFSS case
No, a code is not necessary to receive the discounted registration price.
Yes. They can attend on a space available basis. Please check availability before RSVPing by reaching out to Faye Lorena-Reyes at wilhelmina.lorena@us.af.mil.
- A full refund for in-person registration will be granted if written request for cancellation is received by email 30 or more calendar days before the conference start date. You may also transfer your registration to a colleague at no additional cost.
- In-person registration may be converted to virtual at any time before the conference starts. If there is a price difference, a refund will be granted 30 or more calendar days before the conference starts. If registration is converted less -+than 30 days out, no refund will be granted.
- Unused registrations/applications have no monetary value and cannot be credited to future years or events.
- ANA will not issue refunds or credits due to failure to redeem a discount promo code during the registration process.
- Hotel room cancellations and changes must be made directly with the hotel.
- Miscellaneous:
- The conference agenda is subject to change.
- A portion of your guest room rate will be used to offset conference costs.
- ANA accepts no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal property.

Yes. You can attend the ANA In-House Agency Conference virtually for $899/person. Consider arranging session participation in a group setting. Keep in mind ANA no longer offers a corporate unlimited virtual package. This means only the person registering will receive credit/CEUs which apply towards maintaining CAMP certification.
A virtual option for the Milmark Workshop will not be offered.
No. FSS leadership is asked to support Marketing Director attendance through unit funding.
Yes. We recommend the person chosen is one who acts as the Marketing Director in your absence.
